Basis Instrumentation
The HALO aircraft will be equipped with a basis sensor system permanently
installed at the aircraft. This basis sensor system will be installed and
operated by the DLR Flight Facility at Oberpfaffenhofen.
The basis sensor system comprises:
- Access to the basic aircraft position data
- Measurement of the 3-D wind field and turbulence
- Measurement of pressure and temperature
- Measurement of humidity with different seonsors up to the tropopause level
- Radiation
- Surrounding conditions in the aircraft
- Aircraft Parameter from the Air Data Computer
- Video Signals
